Description of the machine
Apart from the production of keyways, our presses are used also for straightening, bending, punching and pressing in and out. The extremely sturdy welded design guarantees high stability even at maximum pressure. With the large stroke, the wide overhang and large installation height even large workpieces can be machined easily. The broaching of keyways, profiles or serrations is done with a broaching arbour (see factory standard 49.016 and 49.013). The production of a keyway or a profile takes less than a minute! The presses are extremely easy to operate. In the mechanical press, the power is transmitted from the hand wheel via a gear set to the toothed rack. By operating a back gear, the pressure can be increased from 3 tons to 6 tons with the same actuating force.
