Broaching tools
Broaching tools are multidentate tools whose geometrically defined edges are arranged one behind the other and are graduated by one cutting thickness each time. A distinction is made between two types of broaching tools: internal and surface broaching tools. Comparable process parameters apply for both. So, the broaching speeds for soft machining applications are between 2-20 m/min. Due to the close cooperation of our tool design and the contract broaching department, the expertise from production is incorporated directly into the design of our tools. This expertise as well as the continuous optimisation of our production techniques are a guarantee for the quality that characterise our broaching tools for more than 50 years.
